Chapter History
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Nu Mu Chapter was chartered June 30, 1983 on the campus of San Francisco State University. Our charter members took on a phenomenal task, as it was not easy to become recognized on this campus due to the large number of other sororities that were a part of the Divine Nine. Charter member Veda Cannon recalls being told “we weren’t wanted nor needed.”
Signature Programs
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is honored to have formed many wonderful community-based partnerships over the past 85 years. Whether administering to our Z-HOPE programs or giving financial assistance to students through our Zeta National Educational Foundation (ZNEF), we do so with the understanding that service to the community is our greatest legacy.
